Trying to stop liking things I'm not supposed to

I struggle with unwanted desires, feeling like a failure as a human with flaws. I'm trying to learn how to hate liking sapphic things, but research says to write them like any other person with deeper emotional issues.

What I wish I knew
"Maybe there's no quick fix, and I need to accept my flaws."
If I could tell you one thing
"Be honest with yourself and accept your flaws, rather than trying to change who you are."
