I accepted a startup job over another offer.

My startup told me they were letting everyone go, but I later discovered they only fired me. Everyone else is still working there on reduced pay, an option I was never offered.

What I wish I knew
"I wish I knew the recruiter's promise of a 'long-term stable position' was a lie."
If I could tell you one thing
"Don't fully trust a startup's claims of stability, even if it means turning down other offers."

Clear regret.
The downsides outweighed what was gained.
