“Held onto and sold a rental property.”
What Actually Happened
I have been living with high amounts of debt for so long, it just felt like normal life. I had 2 mortgage payments after my renters suddenly moved out in my out of state rental home, and they left the home trashed. I used all my savings to get the property back to a livable state and was forced to put it on the market in the worst month, December.
On top of keeping that house up, my credit card payments had slowly crept up and when I ran out of emergency savings, which was clearly not well fun
