“Relied on my new job's direct deposit working correctly.”

Got a new job. Had to get a paper check for my first for some reason, which is annoying but I knew it was happening. I put in my direct deposit and nothing in my account this morning. So I contact my boss and apparently they did a paper check again. Also I work my other job on fridays which is 40 min from the first. So now my spouse has to go get it and I can’t deposit it until 7pm tonight. I’m paycheck to paycheck so things are going to bounce today and I’m pissed.
