Lookback: my entire childhood

I've been financially dependent on the government most of my life

I grew up with parents who didn't work and received government assistance. I later dropped out of college due to debt and joined the military to pay down debt, but still live paycheck to paycheck.

What I wish I knew
"I wish I had learned basic financial skills and how to manage debt"
If I could tell you one thing
"Create a budget and seek financial assistance to break the cycle of dependency"
