I trusted my coworker with personal family information.

I told my supervisor about my abusive household. After a disagreement, I now fear she will use this information against me by telling my mom, who she is in contact with.

What I wish I knew
"I wish I knew that a coworker's kindness doesn't mean they are trustworthy with sensitive personal information."
If I could tell you one thing
"Do not share personal details about your family at work, as they could be used against you."
