What Actually Happened
I'm 20 years old and currently studying Computer Science, but I'm finding it difficult to land jobs in the field despite having experience and personal projects. I've been considering a career change to become a commercial pilot, something I previously thought was impossible for me due to my Deuteranomaly Color Blindness. I've done some research and found that it threats may not be as severe as I thought, and I plan to consult with an aviation medical examiner to determine if I can pass the required vision tests.
What I wish I knew
"I wish I had known more about the potential options for pilots with color blindness and the specific requirements for commercial airline pilots."
